On May 20, 2026, the LCC Board of Trustees voted unanimously to begin the search for the next LCC President in July 2027, with an anticipated start date of July 2028.
During the May 21, 2026, All Staff meeting, it was shared that LCC has a balanced budget to present to the LCC Board of Trustees for the 2026-27 academic year. This was achieved through a combination of vacant positions, reallocation of some funding to non-operating sources, and estimated savings from a forthcoming optional Leave Without Pay program for employees.
