The updated Administrative Policy 101 - Shared Governance is now live.

LCC's Administrative Policies serve as the essential framework for guiding our daily interactions and ensuring a level playing field. Familiarizing yourself with them isn't just about compliance; it empowers you to navigate your career with confidence and contribute to a harmonious campus culture.

  On June 10, 2026, the LCC Board of Trustees voted unanimously to extend Interim President Kristen Finnel's contract through June, 2028. This follows a May 20, 2026, decision to begin the search for the next LCC President in Fall 2027, with an anticipated start date of July 2028.

LCC will begin the search for a Vice President of Instruction in early 2027 with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027.

  During the May 21, 2026, All Staff meeting, it was shared that LCC has a balanced budget to present to the LCC Board of Trustees for the 2026-27 academic year. This was achieved through a combination of vacant positions, reallocation of some funding to non-operating sources, and estimated savings from a forthcoming optional Leave Without Pay program for employees. No occupied positions were eliminated.
