New Hire Onboarding Series
As part of your onboarding experience, Faculty, Exempt, Full-Time, and Part-Time Classified Staff will attend a four-week New Hire Onboarding Series. Each week focuses on a key area to help you navigate our campus, access essential resources, and feel confident in your new role. You'll attend one session per week for four weeks.

Samantha Orth
Executive Director of Human Resources
I've been part of the HR team at LCC since 2014, and I’m also an LCC alum – in fact, I first joined LCC as a Running Start student!
Whether you have questions about policies and procedures, collective bargaining agreements, recruitment, conflict resolution, medical leave, employee accommodations, evaluations, position changes, compensation, training, or anything else HR-related, I’m here to assist you.

Shani Dennick
Assistant Director of Human Resources
I have been part of the HR team at LCC since 2015. I started as a student and have
loved being part of the college community ever since! In my role, I guide employees
and supervisors on HR processes, benefits, retirement, onboarding, and policies, while
leading efforts to streamline HR workflows and improve new hire experiences.
I’m here to help you with:

Jeremy Martin
People Relations Specialist
New to LCC and HR Team since October of 2026! I am originally from the greater surrounding area, graduated from Northwest University, and am an Air Force Veteran. As a team member within Human Resources, I am here to develop and foster positive and effective relationships and am here to help with:

- Representing management in union negotiations and labor-management councils
- Facilitating conflict resolution and grievance management

I have been at LCC since June of 2023! While my regular tasks primarily involve talent acquisition, I'm also the chair of the Red Devil Wellbeing committee! I’m here to help with:
