Lower Columbia College has over 90 program options in eight career pathways. Degree requirements for all certificate, associate and bachelor's degrees are included in the college's academic catalog. Program maps are also available via the college's website. Programs that meet the criteria below may also have program webpages on the college's website to provide information on unique topics such as special program costs, testing or licensure information.

Decision Criteria for Developing LCC Program Webpages

  1. Are there program costs not covered by tuition and/or course fees?*
    • Yes – this program is eligible for a program webpage
    • No – proceed to question #2
  2. Does the program have a separate application process, aside from the general online admissions application?
    • Yes – this program is eligible for a program webpage
    • No – proceed to question #3
  3. Is there a list of tools or other equipment students must purchase/access before starting their first class?
    • Yes – this program is eligible for a program webpage
    • No – proceed to question #4
  4. Are there testing or licensure requirements for working in the field that require more explanation than can be provided within the program map and/or degree requirements?
    • Yes – this program is eligible for a program webpage
    • No – proceed to question #5
  5. Are there other unique circumstances related to this program that cannot be adequately covered within the program map and/or degree requirements?
    • Yes – this program may be eligible for a program webpage: schedule a meeting with a member of the web team
    • No – this program is likely not eligible for a program webpage

*Per the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) standards adopted in 2020, colleges are now required to publicly disclose program expenses not covered by tuition and/or course fees.
