Name tags are an important part of LCC's customer service approach, particularly for those who serve students directly. All employees are encouraged to wear them.

LCC’s name tags have been redesigned to better serve persons with low vision. The new design features larger, white letters on a dark background to increase readability and visibility for all.

Corresponding ribbons to identify our Spanish speaking employees are also available.

Ribbons are recommended for employees who speak Spanish.

Ribbons are designed to be affixed to the new name tags via adhesive tape (provided) and are available in the Human Resources Office.

How to order your LCC employee name tag

Guidelines for ordering LCC employee name tags

  1. As you are determining what to list below your name, consider what will be most meaningful to students. For example, the name of your department or primary function may be more meaningful (and easier to read) than your complete title. Guided Pathways requires us to “flip” the college to be more student-centric, so before ordering your name tag, take the time to consider what would be most helpful for students.
  2. All name tag content must be approved by your Vice President before it is ordered.
  3. Orders should be coordinated through your Vice President's Executive Assistant. Similar to business cards, departments/divisions pay for their own name tag orders.
  4. Coordinate with your Vice President's Executive Assistant if you would like to include pronouns on your name tag.
